Dr. Van der Werff has made presentations to dentists, physicians, nurses, physical therapists and the general public on many aspects of dentistry. Both the CDA and ADA have invited him to be a table clinic presenter at their annual conventions.
Dr. Van der Werff's practice philosophy includes a conservative, non-surgical approach to pain management. He strongly believes in providing gentle care, using the least invasive techniques. Surgery and extensive dental treatment are rarely needed for TMD.
